We are just a short few weeks away from starting our Summer Art Camps! The King Art Studio is offering four different week-long sessions for you to choose from, with both half-day and full-day sessions available! Our campers will be immersed in artistic projects for the entire week, across a variety of different mediums, with an emphasis on painting, drawing and mixed media. Our camps are hosted by our very own professional Art instructors, ensuring that your child gets the absolute most benefit out of each activity. We focus on teaching proper technique to our students, so that they can utilize their newly learned skills across many of their artistic endeavors, consistently striving to reach new heights in the quality of their artwork.
Our curriculums vary each session, therefore if your child is insterested in attending multiple weeks, they will be creating different styled works of art, as well as different projects within each week-long session. Ask about multi-week and sibling discounts!
We work exclusively with high-quality materials, from stretched canvas, to our acrylic paints, to our drawing materials, we bring a professional grade experience to our students, working to improve their confidence and their core competencies in each activity that we do. We will create stunning acrylic on canvas paintings over the course of the camp, focusing on varying styles and genres to encompass a broad array of both contemporary and well-established techniques. We will create pieces based upon the work of the masters, learning about their inspirations and unique characteristics that made them world renowned.
When working on our drawing skills, we experiment with graphite, pastel and charcoal to bring out the unique traits inherent in each of these mediums, paying close attention to the creation of depth and perspective. We also create mixed media and craft activities to bring fun and exciting new opportunities to our campers!
Students will also have the opportunity to play games with fellow campers, making new friends that have similar interests, creating lasting friendships. We host a pizza party at the end of each of our sessions to celebrate a great week, and we have an absolute blast!!
